This is a small issue, but I have a customer that is building buildings with high-quality finishes. The color choices for wall mounted motions is limited to beige. Is there a manufacturer or a way to get a commercial detector in a different color?

You could take the housing minus the lens and have it skinned. Basically they take the plastic pieces and dip them in to a water solution that has a sticker essentially and and it forms to the plastic. It is actually very durable and can be almost anything you want. See website below. I am not endorsing this site but it will give you an idea of what to do. They can skin almost anything.
The housing (masking the lens) can be painted with typical latex wall paint. You might also see if a vehicle wrap company could print some pattern skins or wraps to cover them also.
Thanks to both of you for your advice. We knew we could paint them (the old redneck rattle) but that never turns out as well as we think.
Dipping and wrapping would be more along the lines of what I am looking for.
