They now appear to be a residential security company in Arizona. Not sure how much connection there is to the "real" BRS Labs.

maybe they picked up the name cheap in a chapter 7 sale.

or worse, picked it at random.

either way, they have the same attitude that made the original so compelling:

We come up with latest breakthroughs which are not yet introduced to the market.

and voice rec locks:

We have deadbolts that are more durable and also digital locks which are fingerprint and passcode activated. We also have here those security locks which respond only to voice recognition. For the latter, it comes with wireless devices like those you used in to lock and unlock your cars. Those devices are in sync with the locks per se and incorporate little microphones inside it. When you are in range, you can simply press the button and speak to it for your locks to be deactivated.

Remember - the proper pronunciation of the name has a silent 'R'

is this a delayed-fuse April Fools joke?

If the gibberish on that landing page wasn't enough for you, check out the About Us page:

"Desperate times call for desperate measures. With the high criminality rate we have at present, it is about time we use more extensive measures in securing our property. Whether it is your residential area or your business building you want to secure, BRS Labs could help you with that.

This company was established by the ex-marine officer Clyde Graham. Wars, bombing, terrorism, encounters, death – name it, he has seen it all. There is nothing more horrendous than being deployed in Afghanistan for more than a decade and a half. This is why when he chose to retire early, he picked up a security development company to establish. He believes that equipped with the knowledge and experiences he has, he can help make security locks more fool-proof and properties more secured. So, together with some friends who chose to trust his skills, he managed to start up this company in 2005.

His hard work immediately paid off. In just a couple of years, his company grew by leaps and bounds as more and more customers seek its service to ensure that their properties would be secured all the time. But he did not stop there. Graham continued to develop more and more security devices over the years. He is privy to the fact that no matter how secured your locks are, at some point there are those who are determined enough to unlock the secrets of your creations. So, he simply continued to improve his invention time and time again. He also took advantage of the improvement in the technology and incorporated it in his craft. Through rigorous effort, his company now is soaring when it comes to security devices.

This sounds like something written by an AI bot.  Or a native Chinese speaker who has been in the US/UK for at least 6 years.

Testimonial link from the brslabs website:

"Margaux, 49

I was a victim of a robbery last year. We were on a family vacation for the holidays almost on the other side of the world. Apparently, someone picked the lock of my back door and they used it as an entryway to the inside of my home. This incident was very traumatic for the whole family. This is not the first time it happened but so far, this is the worse. Every time although there were CCTVs around the area, the local police still weren’t able to catch the culprit. I already even upgraded my locks to no avail. Based on the investigation conducted during the unfortunate event, the robbers managed to cut off the wirings of my alarm. Because of this, it failed to work during the whole incident. So this time, I approached the BRS Labs after hearing about it from my colleague. I was impressed with the customer service representatives because it was obvious that they are really knowledgeable about their products. They explained to me the process of what they are going to do and explain to me how it would work. I agreed because their products seem good over the phone. They immediately installed it the next day and we even performed a dry run. Everything was great.

When we went for the weekend to NYC to visit my mom, my attention was caught by the notification I receive on my smartphone. Someone was trying to break in again into my house. This time, I immediately alerted the authorities who came in no time to my house. Then they caught two men in the act of tampering again on my locks. They were put to jail with my house remaining unscathed. Since then, such unfortunate incident did not happen again and this is all thanks to BRS Labs.

hahahahaha - I'm leaning toward AI bot

It’s from here...

Btw, I just came across another odd statement in the faq, the “adaptive lock”

Do you install the devices you sell?

Yes, we do. We only trust our own specialists to do the work when it comes to our products. Such wirings are proven to be complicated for those who are not well-versed to the inside and outside the function of our security devices. Also, for security measures, only people from BRS Labs are authorized to install and remove these devices from your homes. If tampered with, it has an adaptive lock which would immediately secure your property. So if you want to remove it, just call us.

I sent a note to the company asking what is their relation to Ray Davis' BRS Labs, but have not received a reply.
