Jan 02, 2018I spoke with them briefly at ISC West in 2016. At that time, the 2MP cameras were ~$1,200 for single unit quantities, and were primarily targeted at application developers who wanted to build analytics applications on top of their linux-based platform.
If you are looking for a turn-key analytics solution, you may want to strongly consider more main-stream companies. If you are looking to build your own solution, they may have some potential, though at the same time companies like DNNCam might give you something closer to turn-key for a roughly similar overall cost by the time you factor in developer time.
Roseek lists annual volumes of 20,000 units, which is relatively small, and most likely primarily within China, so your best approach may be to ask the company for reference customers you can speak to, as it is unlikely you will find many users overall.
