Security Installers on Video Analytics

Author: John Honovich, Published on Aug 26, 2009

SSI magazine has a survey on video analytics that is a useful contrast to our on-line poll: Does Video Analytics Work?

In this 2008 survey of security installers, only 6% said video analytics was growing like gangbusters while 68% said that analytics were kind of flat or that they did not even offer them.

The general results are consistent with our poll and common industry comments.
