IMS says that they have adjusted their 2010 estimate for global network video surveillance sales. In 2007, they estimated a market of $2.6 Billion. Now, they are estimating about $2 Billion for 2010 sales or a reduction of about 23%.

This was cited in a February 2010 article [link no longer available]. Specifically, "When the forecast was initially released in 2007, it underestimated the severity of the economic downturn and as a result, we haven’t really seen the $2.6 billion target. We estimate that network video surveillance sales in 2010 will be around the $2 billion mark."
