Free 100+ Manufacturer-Customized Camera Calculator Released

Author: IPVM Team, Published on Jul 19, 2018

Now, any manufacturer has a customized IPVM Camera Calculator, free.

The goal is to make it easier for companies to help their customers better design systems. To do so, they simply give their customers a custom link. For example, the regular IPVM calculator's URL is calculator.ipvm.com, now, each manufacturer has their name appended to that link, e.g. https://calculator.ipvm.com/arecont or https://calculator.ipvm.com/dahua or https://calculator.ipvm.com/wbox, etc.

Overview

Here's how it works, when one enters a manufacturer-customized URL, it shows that manufacturer's name:

When the user picks models, it displays the number of models available:

Then the user can select among that manufacturer's models:

Also, the user can still see all 7,500+ camera models in the IPVM calculator by clicking on the 'show other manufacturers' link above.

Free For 4 Cameras For Non-Members

This works, for free, for up to 4 cameras, just like IPVM's regular Calculator.

100+ Manufacturers

Here is the list of current manufacturers with links. We can and will do this for any manufacturer (explained further after this):

Also, if a manufacturer wants their customized link changed, we can do that, just contact ryan@ipvm.com

Adding More Models and Manufacturers

IPVM can and will any model from any manufacturer. As the list above signals, we have already added a vast number of options and continue to add new models daily. Post a comment below or email ryan@ipvm.com for help on this.
