A number of the largest IP camera manufacturers claim high 2009 growth rates in the Middle East [link no longer available].

  • Sony claimed 160% growth from 2008 to 2009 in the region for IP
  • Panasonic claimed 'more than 50%' growth
  • Axis claimed that projects stalled early in 2009 but restarted by end of 2009
  • Only Samsung emphasized a continued focus on analog cameras
