Why Doesn't Axis Have A True Turret Camera?

This has come up over the past few years in our surveys and reader comments.

Axis has a sort-of "turret" form factor in the M31 series (below), but it's got a large non-removable junction box on the bottom where cable enters, making it a lot taller than typical turrets from companies like Hikua.
