Given the false alert issues of typical VMD (often constant alerts), I've been wondering lately as we wrapped up the Camera Analytics Shootout 2023 and set up other tests why manufacturers aren't defaulting to analytics being enabled. In 2023, it feels weird having to turn VMD off and turn analytics on every time we set up a camera.
Thoughts? How often are you deploying analytics, even simple ones, e.g., Axis Object Analytics, Hikvision Acusense?
