In another discussion I was asking about UPS runtimes for 12V devices, and it was suggested to modify a UPS to provide 12VDC output rather than inverting to 120V and rectifying back to 12V.
As I looked for commercial models that did exactly that, I found this and seem to remember someone asking about outdoor power options. I searched but cannot find the thread. Hope this helps, seems like a very affordable option from a name-brand UPS supplier with a genuine outdoor-rated enclosure.
