Does anyone have a reliable resource on who makes/where Digital Watchdog's camera chipset is made? I know they assemble their cameras in Taiwan and are headquartered in South Korea, but want to know the actual chipset information.

I see their new IP Turret is now manufactured in China which is disappointing as I was considering using them as an option to the Chinese cameras.

The cameras are not great I would look elsewhere. I use DW blackjack nvr with vivotek cameras all the time. My next install will be a blackjack nvr with the new honeywell 30 series, vivo oem.

In the past year, ~60% of DW's imports to the US, by weight, have been from China manufacturer TVT:

See DW US import record spreadsheet.

It's confusing because Digital Watchdog is owned or partially owned by Kaltech Enterprises out of Tampa, Florida. The owner is Korean and they had a factory in Korea. The their VMS is Network Optix. As John pointed out, their cameras are an OEM. Kaltech use to make DVRs for GVI but I don't know if they built anything anymore.
