I am redoing my companies auto insurance. I realized that as I was hiring I didn't always add the new employees onto the insurance. One of the employees has a DUI from two years ago, and my broker says that it will headaches with the insurance. The issue is is that he is a crew chief, and while not absolutely necessary for him to drive one of the vehicles, it would make things harder.
Those that have been in this situation, what do you do? Do you say he can't drive? Do you have him use his personal car and help offset it? I am not sure if even paying a higher premium is an option. I know one insurance agency rejected me because of the driving records.
