The next part, I would like to talk about it is warehouse as the part of retail synergy and the problem.
When you starts the new project, it may seem to you so easy. On the one hand it's restricted area.
Let's take an example. You have a warehouse. Sorry for my sketch. I understand that it is clumsy. But I tried to imagine a new warehouse.
In the back of a house you have (Mr. Patton, I hope it the same that you have mentioned earlier) of 4 loading docks and 4 sorting grounds ( 1, 2 for boxes and pallets with goods (blue) 3 return of defective products(dark grey) 4 goods from the factories : paint and building materials(orange)) The warhouse coonsists of 10 sections each section consists of group of products.
and 3 loading docks in front of the warehouse ( 1, 2 used to service wholesalers (red) 3 used to store supply (green).
1. When I start I try to understand the mechanism of the warehouse. How it works?
2. Try to cover all assets and corridors.
3. The next step you will have to fill in the plan the locations of CCTV cameras and their direction
4. Try to convert this plan into the matrix. eq. Imagine that each CCTV camera it's a rectagnle and give them numbers.
5. Insert the direction of the cameras in the matrix.
6. Collect the information from the matrixes and you.
7. Delete all empty objects and count every row of cameras. It will help you in future.
8. Now you have found out that you have 10 rows. It consists of 13, 11, 16, 8, 10, 5, 14, 7, 5, 16, 10 rectangles. Check yourself. Compare the number of rectangles with you plan. 115 vs 115. It's ok. It's impossible to make a video wall.
There are some types of optimization. Some of them use structurising by X and Y. Ussualy it looks like that.

10. One of the best way to sort and split them by destination: (eq. Loading, storage, compound and control)
This is 10 points which will help you to build a strong and optimized warehouse defense. It took me 1/2 of a day to describe it. And two days to draw my sketch. I think that tracking in a real-time will be very comfortable. Each camera goes smoothly into the next and you know intuitively where it will be next, without looking at the plan. But in my opinion you need a lot of analythics modules and a lot if you want to build a an effective system. The reality of the video surveillance in the warehouse is that you will be hundred and hundred more effective if you have some analogy like (POS integration).
I like some functions from the different comanies. I have done a lot of investigations, but I have to use documents or special programms. Without it you will not gain success.
One remark. You may put the loading templates where you want.
