Walmart Running Google Ads Selling Hikvision

Sounds about right. They both capture their respective markets by being cheap, both target the consumer market, etc. it will definitely not help Hikvision make it into the enterprise.
Marty!
Now you can get your groceries AND your inventory in one stop!
I'm 99% sure there is no "Walmart" in this list.
That's because it doesn't appear to be Walmart selling the cameras. They are simply creating a marketplace like Amazon creating a platform for other resellers. If you compare some of the prices, B&H Photo is selling for a lot lower. Plus, I don't think that you will actually see a Hikvision camera on a shelf at Walmart. Perhaps I may be wrong.
I think many companies are trying to do the Amazon thing to try and get another revenue stream to help their brand and make up from losses due to Amazon. You try to be that one stop shop in a brick and mortar store. This feels like the same thing.
Although all the resellers I saw on Walmarts page aren't on the authorized resellers list either.
Yes, just like Amazon. Though because of the b+m store association, more misleading perhaps...
True. It's the same with Sears and Kmart. You can find a few Hikvision items listed there. I think it's misleading on Amazon as well though. I'm not sure how I learned to mostly purchase when it said bought and sold by Amazon, but I try to make many aware that just because an item is sold on Amazon does not mean Amazon is the one selling it. It's worse when you see Prime next to an item and it's sold by "some seller" and fulfilled by Amazon.
The interesting thing is this is probably one of the first times I've seen a company like Walmart using Adwords for Hikvision to get you to a website.
