I have a requirement to transfer video streams between 2 enterprises. Enterprise 1 has all the CCTV camera streams coming in and has multicast IP's configured on individual cameras. Enterprise 1 network (routers, switches) is enabled with Multicast routing and transmission. They can transmit multicast streams as-is to Enterprise 2. Enterprise 2 on the other hand only support unicast and for whatever reason cannot have multicast enabled on them.
I am trying to explore a solution that can be deployed in between the 2 enterprises to convert multicast streams to Unicast and then feed into enterprise 2. Do let me know if anyone can direct me to a technology/solution provider who can support this conversion with a software based application. The streams are live and need to be converted and feed back into enterprise 2 as unicast in real time. I assume this conversion will also require hardware server(s) with resources to support it, and can be arranged.
