Does anyone have and recommendation for a 1 camera vehicle transport system.

The customer wants to just view the back seat but there is plexiglass that they want to mount the camera on in the corner where there is small gap.  They want the system to record on startup and have display that driver can see(this is a must have).  They dont care about gps or off loading footage.  They also want have it to be able to record up to 10 hours.  They would like it not to have loop recording but would be notified when getting full.  I think if the storage was high enough I could get past loop recording issue.

Amazon has a bunch of options that i could rig up.  They are more of dashcam with rear camera that I could use for the back seat camera.

I am looking for product with a proven track record and support.

Budget is around $1000  per vehicle.  My cost of course.😉

I am open to all suggestions from cheap to high end even if it's over my budget.

Here one I came across that has what I was looking for but looks kinda old school.  Not sure about this company and there website doesn't have much for details like manuals or whats included.

A Mobotix S16 with a fisheye sensor in the transport portion, one in the driver portion. A single camera recording to an internal SD card, have it update when it gets to the depot's wifi, or connect it to a Sierra Wireless gateway for live viewing. Both sensors will record audio as well for forensics.

Thanks for the suggestion but the driver needs a monitor screen to view the camera live while transporting.  They Don't care about off-loading video via wifi.  They just want to change Sd-cards out if there was an issue.

That sounds entirely cumbersome, but you can easily view the camera from multiple types of devices: toughbook, tablet, MxDisplay even is an option for a small PoE display with audio.

We have used Blackvue Dash Cams in the past.  You may want to take a look at the below model:

You can stick the rear camera to the plexiglass from the driver cabin looking towards the rear seats.  Live monitoring can be done on the screen, and comes with a 128GB SD card option.
