I need to install front and rear facing cams on a couple of box trucks. Requirements are pretty basic just need to record potential collisions and ideally split the feed from the rear facing cam to go into a backup monitor so the cams would ideally be analog. In addition to the backup cam analog is easier to power from 12 volts DC. The system would not be connected to cell since the video only needs to be retrieved if there is an incident. However I would like dry contact alarm out that would wire into the alarm in on a cellular connected GPS tracker for purpose of sending an alert if the unit has video loss or storage issues.
I have been looking at the everfocus emv200 which I like because its analog. I see axis, dahua, and hikvision have systems but they are IP. Just wondering if anyone has experience with the emv line or has a similar product to recommend. Also if there is a decent all in one "rugged" edge camera I would not be opposed to simply installing a front and rear recording cam and than second rear cam dedicated to backing up.
