UK Parliament To Consider Procurement Ban On Firms Involved In Crimes Against Humanity
Pressure to ban companies including Dahua and Hikvision in the UK is starting already in 2023.
An amendment to the UK's 2022 Procurement Bill that bans procurement of physical technology or surveillance equipment from firms involved in crimes against humanity, slavery, or genocide will be introduced to the House of Commons next week, sources told IPVM. It previously passed the House of Lords in November.
