Last week (January 2023), IPVM analyzed the draft UK Procurement Bill which includes a section, Clause 65, that targets Hikvision (and possibly others) by mandating removal of surveillance equipment implicated in "crimes against humanity" within 6 months.

Now, the current UK government has motioned to "leave out Clause 65", indicating they oppose the Clause, a key decision:
