Ubiquiti announced a 'bodycam' for hipsters, designed to allow people to capture and share video, somewhat like Snap Chat's Spectacles, though work like a necklace pendant instead of glasses:

Is this going to do to the personal cam/recording/sharing market what Ubiquiti did to outdoor wifi?

$400 and larger than I expected, so maybe the next generation will be more appealing. I guess if I was a protester, but they don't appear to have the extra $$. I wear polo and button-down collared shirts, so I'm not cool enough to pull this thing off.

Ubiquiti missed a marketing play to have Flavor Flav endorse these things.

I have been liking UNIFI and new PTP products recently and both are good but could use some more development.  Why they release something like this instead of putting more effort into their core products, I just don't get it.

Another question I have is how is the image stabilization with the camera when you're walking fast or running?  How do you keep the camera from flopping around and pointing at your body?

We bought one and will do a test. Not sure when it arrives, Ethan?

It should be here by the end of the week. It was supposed to be two day shipping but not sure if it shipped yesterday or not.

Robert Pera has always funded side projects from their core wireless stuff - Surveillance cameras were one of these side projects.  I don't think it takes away from their core development I think its more of keeping the companies image of trying to disrupt and innovate and not be pigeon-holed as just a wirleess ptp mfg

Mike you must have missed this in the product features it actually gives the wearer the ability to teleport to his/her favorite concert so yes ;)

If two Frontrow pendant cam wearers face each other while live streaming, it creates an endless loop wormhole.
