Truvision Opinions?

Seems like I run across TruVision from time to time. Looks like they have appliance NVR’s combined with IP licenses and sell this as a non-license IP camera solution. Camera specs seem to be pretty good considering the cost. Cameras such as the TVD-M3245E which come in 3Mp, IP66 housing, SD storage, WDR, IR illuminators, auto-focus etc…

Anyone care to share their experiences with TruVision lineup? How is the overall user experience?

Thanks in advance.

Avoid the TVD-3101 TVD-3102, TVB-3101 and TVB-3102 mini bullet and dome cameras. I have used them and motion detection is horrible, horrible, did I say horrible? They are the low priced models, but didnt think this would be the issue with them. Picture quality is decent, if you opt for continuous record anyway.

Here are some examples if you care to download: They are zipped exacq exe player files. Two shots one with continuous record and the other on motion detection, highest sensitivity available (Which usually is just like continuous-not in this case) Motion doesnt kick in at all one clip, hence the single view.

Direct setup in the configurator requires the "light bulb" to trigger.

I have spoke to interlogix about the issue, and received no resolve. My vendor woud probably take them back, but they are already installed.
