I have a need to provide video monitoring as follows: Within a large warehouse, there is a restricted area segregated by tall chain link fencing. This fencing has about a 10’ wide opening to allow multiple conveyors (multi-level) for moving boxed product out of this area. There is no practical way to physically prevent someone from entering this area between the conveyors. Since the consistent conveyor movement prevents the use of a motion-activated camera to alert to someone walking through this space, I am considering using a thermal camera (e.g. “SightLogix”) to provide an alert if someone walks through the area. Suggestions/options/thoughts? Perhaps Verkada’s “People Analytics” function?
