Thermal Camera With Analytics
I am looking for an IP and an analog thermal fixed camera solution with analytics that can alert you if the cameras detects changes in temp. Customer has PC based DVRs and NVRs so we can run analytics application in background if needed to manage the analytics.
Thanks in advance for your help
FLIR should have something for your application.
Temperature measurement thermal cameras are optimized a little differently than security thermal cameras. Depending on your accuracy requirements and tolerances, you mgiht be able to use a security thermal camera, or you may need to spend a little more for a temp-monitoring cameras (I think for FLIR this is their A-Series).
Thanks Brian... what about a Temp sensor monitoring the area?...Anything available that can detect increase in temp by 20 degrees? Sorry if the questions sounds dumb, I dont know that much about fire alarms and possible sensor options...
Client is a company that recycles chemical wastes and the goal is detect a rise in temp that could spark a fire
Brian is correct. We currently sell the F-A310 for this purpose. The camera is analog and IP, sends alerts via email, really or PLC. Temperatures can be alerted based on several criteria. The analytical are in the cameras.
Please review the Flir A310. Flir is a leader in thermography and can do alarms based on radiometric criteria. There are some limitations and potential license options at temperature extremes. Otherwise this is pretty standard stuff for a company that specializes in remote temperature detection.
