The assertion that alarm monitoring companies "don't care" or haven't seriously thought out their own approach to providing reliable 24/7 monitoring services is, quite frankly, an insult to thousands of security professionals worldwide. Believe it or not, alarm and monitoring companies are made up of people, most of whom take what they do very seriously. They provide competent life-safety monitoring to many people and businesses and fully understand and appreciate the potential cost of failure.
