Specific Delayed Egress Lock Question
Good afternoon everyone. I have a very specific question about delayed egress maglocks and I am looking for input. I have an install that requires pretty standard delayed egress features, but.....also functions as a standard maglock. There is a door that allows ingress into a customer space, then into a stairwell for emergency egress. Push on the door from the lobby, 30 second alarm, door opens, patron exits through the fire stairwell.
Under normal (non emergency) conditions customer uses the card to gain entry. Customer can also exit using the PIR or Push to Exit button on the door. The AHJ is requiring both.
