SNZ-6320 Zoom Out After Reset?

We just took on a client with 35 SNH-6320 cameras and have found that after a power reset they go max zoom out.  When asked, the client said that they've always done that and the previous integrator couldn't resolve it.  Is this a known issue?  Any resolution?
