The Security Industry Association’s (SIA) offers a Security Industry Cybersecurity Certification (SICC). Before I go specifying this credential for security systems work, I am interested in the membership's thoughts on the matter. Is anyone is considering getting this certification; Is there value in it; Do you think it is a good or bad idea for consultants to specify this as a requirement for the job? Should this credential be specified as an independent consultant? or work within the Integrator's staff?
