A Russian news outlet, Polygon, reports Russia is to install facial recognition at its land borders with PRC China, Kazakhstan, Poland, and Lithuania (English article by The Moscow Times). This news comes based on the announcement on Russia's public procurement portal (screen capture below), which details the "supply and installation of video analytics systems at checkpoints", and is worth ~$11.3 million.
