Anyone have a recommended brand/model of passiev coax-to-ethernet converters? I have a situation where I need to get hard-wired ethernet to a telephone entry panel we've not been able to find a pathway (this is a retrofit) to get a new cable pull anywhere near the panel without a substantial amount of cutting open the existing walls. We did find an unused coax cable that goes between the panel and where we need to be with the hard-wired ethernet connection, so perhaps we're lucky afterall.
There's not a lot of space behind/above the flush-mounted panel (its mounted in a granite cutout in an external column wall), but I believe a passive coax converter module will fit. Have not used these converters before, so any suggestions or caveats in using these converters would be welcomed.
