Intel Vs Realtek NIC For IP Video Surveillance

Looking for feedback on Realtek vs. Intel NIC. I've been scouring the web looking for information but have come up with very little. Most discussions are around copying files on a small LANs and nothing to do with constant streaming of video. If one were to build a small VMS or are looking to build a dedicated viewing station what are the advantages of an Intel NIC. I understand that at an enterprise level with high throughput needs Intel would be the way to go, but if you are moving 15-20Mbps is there a real advantage?
