Pelco On-Edge Analytics

I found that Pelco on-edge analytics can be supported by Genetec VMS (Pelco enhanced 3 and next generations), what about the old series (IME 229 / IBE 229 / IME 229-1RS) we can not enable the on-edge analytics cameras already integrated with Genetec?
