Was sent info on a new Openpath video intercom device that is voice-controlled. I did not see an actual lcd display on the device (it didn't look very large in the pictures) so was wondering if anyone saw a live demo of this device at ISC West and could provide any observations or feedback?
I can see this being very useful ... one thing that was not well suited for smaller installs was the monthly cloud hosting fee on top of their normal cloud hosting fees for other readers/doors on the system. For end users that have many users in the building(s) it is a good deal; for end users that only need the intercom to call a couple of phones/smart devices it isn't ... but I think that is one of the sweet spots for this type of device.
