AirTags, Tiles, and other sensors are becoming increasingly popular. But along with the convenience comes a tradeoff: Privacy. NYT tech reporter Kashmir Hill used several types of sensors to show how easy it is to track someone—in this case, her husband (with his permission). Hill used an Air Tag, Tile sensor, and a GPS tracker to monitor his whereabouts.
These sensors also have a nefarious use. As the article explains:
