For privacy reasons, by default, if you comment undisclosed, the votes on those comments do not count to our leaderboard shown on the right hand side. The reason is that it might inadvertently disclose someone who does not want people to know they comment on the site (e.g., they work for a company that has a zero tolerance policy for commenting online).

Now, we have added a feature / option to allow members to count votes on their undisclosed comments to the leaderboard. You can change this by editing your member settings, shown below:

You may not know who Chris Dearing is (he's an eccentric genius not from the industry) but he is a prolific commenter and evidently enjoys IPVM! He would be #1 if not for the recent Avigilon acquisition post where I got a burst but Dearing will clearly overtake me soon enough. Also, hello Marty Major.
