Hi,
Does anyone know what VMS is most used in Retail in the US? And how many are using NVR solutions?
In Europe it's mainly Milestone but i guess this can be different in the US.
Thanks.

I know Genetec has the ones listed here as well as Target.
IPConfigure's retail business has grown significantly over the past 2 years primarily due to our Linux based VMS and the appeal of the browser based UI. Currently we are shipping 100+ units to retail stores per week.
Thanks,
Chris
The top VMS installs for retail in the US are Genetec (Large retailers), Exacq (Large, mid-sized, small retailers) and Milestone (Large, mid-sized retailers). For a lot of the smaller retailers the go with DVRs sourced from local Frys and Costcos. If they are part of a chain, they usually go with an NVR solution.
Thanks for the feedback. Genetec, Milestone and Exacq was my guess as well.
I believe the big 3 each have a large presence in retail due to their sheer overall market share. However, it may serve you well to consider companies like March Networks, Digiop and Clickit, among others, that have both significant revenues and a large, if not exclusive, focus on retail.
