LPR Vs ANPR
Bharath, good question.
LPR and ANPR are the same thing. Some countries can their plates 'license plates', others call them 'number plates'. For example, Wikipedia comments "Depending on the country, the vehicle registration plate may be called a license plate or tag (United States), licence plate (Canada), or number plate (United Kingdom, Australia et al.)."
Americans almost always call it LPR but Europeans, from what I see, call it ANPR.
Finally, LPR / ANPR is definitely different from LPC, the latter just which captures but does not analyze the plate (see: License Plate Capture Vs Recognition: LPC Vs LPR)
