Though I would much rather choose LCN 4040 closers and Von Duprin 99 or Sargent 80 series panic hardware, I have an upcoming project with a bunch of electrical rooms that require panic bars by code and dont have the budget for the good stuff.
Does anybody have experience with the imported cast iron 4040 look-alikes? How about rim type electrically operated panic bars? I will be using these in very low traffic spots, still plan to use the LCN 4040s on the normal and high trafic doors.
