Looking For Solutions In Latin America

Good morning. I recently travelled to a Latin American country and encountered a Wi-Fi nightmare. Because the majority of the construction is masonry (concrete/block), I found that getting a solid (no pun intended) signal throughout a residence was almost impossible with standard OTS equipment.

Does anyone have suggestions for equipment (short of running APs all over an entire building) that is capable of solving this issue?
