Did anyone try another option?
Thanks
There are other synopsis options, though may of them are proprietary to a VMS or NVR, instead of integrating to third parties as Briefcam does.
For example:
From a legal standpoint, there are patents for Video Synopsis, they are owned by Yissum and licensed to Briefcam.
It is patented in the US, Europe, Australia, Japan, and other countries (I was not able to specifically identify all of the countries).
I could not find any challenges to the patent or if Briefcam/Yissum has sued anyone for infringing on their patent.
AxxonSoft’s TimeCompressor is also patented:
And no additional license price or any other expense.
Short demo here:
AgentVi is available as a plug-in for Pelco VideoXpert VMS. For <100 cam systems you can use a VideoXpert Pro option and use the plug-in for added functionality.
Senstar will be offering "video summary" based on the data we gather. Release is scheduled for August.
Thanks for the quick responses. But any video plug in instead a VMS?
AgentVI has a similar solution, video search.
Isn’t each solution that summarize video according to its meta-data not matter how simple (e.g. all red cars) or complex (all red car driving on the shoulders) can be considered sinopsys? I couldn’t understand what is the big message with sinopsys tech once you have extracted the meta-data.
Can someone shine some light on this?
