Hi IPVM leaders,
I was in a recent discussion with a large global distributor, and they were trying sell me a fairly good priced product, however I was able point out to them that the product they suggested was nothing but a Chinese OEM relabel, which i could buy at 1/3 the cost elsewhere, and moreover it did not fit my requirements. I knew this because of the invaluable research IPVM conducts, but I was a little surprised that this particular company did not know the difference (or maybe ignored it) between legit suppliers and Chinese "knock-off's." I suggested they look into getting an IPVM subscription so they can stay abreast of emergent issues; and my sales rep stated they would be contacting their C-suite about it.
