I was wondering what's some good technical standards to have for IP Camera cabling suggestion for vendors. Most of the time we trust the cabling company to know what their doing but sometimes their cables are brands that are unknown and our IT Networking team has made some comments that reliability eventually drops later. They provided some recommendations and I think their pretty solid. Were looking to do new runs in one of our buildings that's very challenging due to the age and size of the building no drop ceilings(imagine large ancient castle) May have to run into walls and sometimes molding on the outside.

They provided some recommendations and I think their pretty solid. Their preference is Cat6A. however CAT 6A cables are much thicker and it will be much more difficult run in this ancient castle building. Some runs may go the whole 328ft.
