Within the last couple of years, I switched jobs and moved to a pretty large integrator. I subscripted to Info+ with my personal email and paid for it myself in order to further my knowledge and provide myself some tools and discussions to make me better at what I do.
I've seen the writing on the wall regarding this change. I have to assume my employer would be considered an IPVM Enterprise sized business. I have very little say in where the company spends their money. It's not something I want to go to bat for particularly, either. Security is, for the most part, a secondary, or tertiary part of the business. That, and I'm simply not interested in trying to convince my executives to spend $10k+ on IPVM.
