I virtually never answer a phone call from an unknown number. The last person who had my work phone number owned a lot of businesses, got his number on what seems to be every list ever, and died suddenly, still gets 4-5 calls a week 5 years later.
However, whenever a new person joins my company there's about a 60% chance that within a few months they will forward me an email or call me asking if I have looked into Verkada, as this really nice rep just reached out to them and it sounds interesting. After the 5th time they wasted sombody at my companies time I had IT add Verkada email addresses to a blocked list, but they still find ways to reach people through Linkedin and other routes.
