Hurricane Damage: As An Integrator, What To Expect Afterwards?

We are in Atlanta so we do not expect to see the type of storm damage Florida will see.

I suspect some wind damage to cameras and wireless devices.

What are the typical issues that come up? Should we expect to see a demand in alarms to cover damaged/unsecured buildings?

Mobile security for damaged and unsecured buildings tends to be a niche market. If you have such products for sell or rent, you'll probably do well.

Most problems we see are cameras dangling from poles because they were struck or the structure gave way. Even if the structure is still standing, if it gets compromised enough, it may introduce water into cameras.

We actually just got a service call for cameras not being remotely accessible in Naples..... while the hurricane was in Naples. Duh!
