Panasonic Release Youtube Demonstration Video Of Their Latest Camera With Hum Bars

I came across this video on youtube that was just posted, and noticed the hum bars.

Yes, this still exists in IP video.

Some cameras have a setting to get rid of hum bars - called anti flicker or power frequency.

If you watch carefully or seek through the beginning, you will see them running up the screen.

Funny that they released a video to YouTube demonstrating their latest with hum bars...

It's funny you posted this, I was just seeing the same issue on another camera yesterday. It was due to some settings changes and didn't happen in production (by production I mean testing), but I haven't seen it happen much in a long time.

They also claim the "bite rate" of the 9MP is almost the same as the 3MP.

Perhaps the cameras are designed to bite anyone intending to tamper with the camera? I would not want to be the tech having to work on this camera.
