How To Offer Alarm Systems Through Subcontractor, We Do Video And Access Currently.

Currently we provide video and access control through Avigilon Alta (formerly Ava) and want to offer a solution for monitored alarm systems to customers. I don't necessarily want to take this on and install ourselves. My first thought was to sub this out. My question is what is the best way to go about this without just telling my customers, hey contact this company?

Is it typical for one company (us) to contract alarm install and the monitoring to another company but remain the customer's only vendor? Does the customer typically pay the monitoring subscription to us and we pay the sub indefinitely, or is it more typical to setup the customer to pay the sub contracted vendor directly?
