We are completing a large wireless lock project with thousands of doors. The hardware was ordered 2 years ago ( of course the manufacturer wanted the big PO) but it's one of those projects that take a long time to install. Fast forward and we are at the tail end of the install and we just had a couple of locks defective out of the box.
When we call the manufacturer for support they say these locks are out of warranty. Basically, the client will have zero manufacturer warranty when the job is completed.
