How Secure Is Digital Watchdog Spectrum Cloud/ Network Optix?
With the recent Verkada hack, I have to wonder how secure the DW Spectrum cloud is. Verkada had 2FA for a little while now and DW has yet to implement it yet. They did say it should be in by 4.2 which is said to be released soon. With Verkada, they were very arrogant and claimed to be very secure compared to the legacy way of doing things. However, until you see there infrastructure or someone hacks it to show proof of how much of a lie that was, you really don't know.
I think companies should, to some degree, start listing security measures and policies very openly to show that they are proactive and have measures in place.
