Since 2019 the NDAA has banned the federal government from procuring Hikvision and Dahua equipment - however, it does not clearly mandate removals of previously-installed gear in federal buildings.

Now, Congresswoman Ashley Hinson (R - IA) is urging these cameras be discovered and "unplugged, ripped off the wall, and thrown where the sun doesn’t shine", National Review reports:
