Hi Guys! Need To Put Around 30 IP Cams Covering Outside Of A Shopping Plaza
Need to put around 30 IP cams to cover a shopping Plaza from outside as there is concern of vandalism. From common rm, one corner is around 150 ft. Around 3 of 4K cams will cover that side of wall, all three, copper, home runs. The adjacent, continuing wall is around 350 feet wide. I can mount one Gigabit switch with two SFP ports, somewhere under ceiling, run fiber, 2 strand, MM-OM3, armored, back to common rm.Hook around 4 cams to that switch, of course using Cat6, UTP. Now going to front, the wall is under 400ft far, straight from common rm. Put another Gigabit, 8 port switch and hook 5 to 6 of 4K, IP cams. The switch to be mounted somewhere in center of wall, under drop ceiling, same like first one. Again run 2 strand fiber back to common rm/NVR. The front is around 700 ft wide, corner to corner. Put another switch, some where in middle, run another 2 strand fiber back to common rm., around 400 ft. Now for right side of property, I can come from other back side and put another switch, hook 4 to 5 cams and run fiber 2 strand, back to common rm.
For rest of the cams, distance being not over 150 ft, I can do home runs.
